Tod’s – Milan Fashion Week FW17
Photos // Vogue Italia
Tod’s celebrates both tradition and the avant-garde and this coupled with their artistry and craftsmanship, is something we always love at Fated & Fabled.
With a colour palette of mainly brown, beige, camel and black, you wouldn’t automatically assume that the designs would pop, but with the supreme attention to detail, so many things catch your eye on the array of beautiful fabrics to include leather, cashmere, wool, fur, suede, gaberdine, nylon and cotton.
We do get real pops of colour with some stylish and elegant red pieces and what is impressive is how this seamlessly flows with the rest of collection, something that can also be said for the white pieces.
We saw boyfriend coats in oversized proportions, elongated biker jackets and a beautiful nappa parka, along with maxi down jackets worn with slim leather trousers. One of my favourite looks was the oversized sweater paired with a deep slit pencil skirt, beautifully showcasing that blend of comfort and sophistication that you know Tod’s will always be dealing in.
